Business Health Check
A business health check is a sophisticated review of your business' financial performance over the last two to three years. The numbers are subjected to analytical review.
The results of the review of your business' performance are used to analyse five critical aspects of your business:
- Profitability management
- Balance sheet and working capital
- Cash flow requirements
- Return on assets and investment
- Funding requirements - current and future
The business health check can also be used to compare your business to similar businesses in the same industry category in Australia. This is the process of measuring KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
The ATO has benchmarks that they use to measure all business tax returns lodged in Australia. If your business does not meet their benchmarks then it will be subject to internal review, and possible tax audit action by the ATO. Does your business pass these benchmarks? We know what the ATO requires.
Where your business borrows money from a bank for business use, the banks have several lending covenants that must be met before they will lend the funds. What are the lending covenants? We know what they are!
Will your business always comply with the lending covenants? What will happen if your business' results deteriorate? What if you are having problems with repaying the loans? Will your bank be lenient and tolerant with your circumstances? Or will they take some action? We can help you to determine if your business is on your bank's watch list?
